About Me

After learning there were indigenous Mu’urs that inhabited the Mississippi Valley before the colonies were established, I took a second look at my family history and now believe that my great-great-great grandfather was from a tribe of those who inhabited the central and lower valley areas of MS, particularly around the area known as Lorman. When the Europeans were carving their way through NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, and LA, he may have been one of many that navigated the waterways of the Mississippi Valley to escape North, utilizing the routes used to trade with tribes farther North and with the Moroccan and Algerian kingdoms centuries earlier. (These waterways and trails were unknown to the Europeans, these paths and trails collectively were later known as the underground-railroad.) My name, 'Khalil Abdullah Furuq ElDey', means; an honorable comrade servant of Allah who seperates falsehoods from truth with the power of knowledge. Love, Truth, and Peace,  to all Islam.
